"My stay was unpleasant after reading the receipt information. As a female, I felt uncomfortable staying alone because the terms and conditions didn't hold me accountable for any risks. "The experience at SUN 1 Berea for 3 days, was highly uncomfortable, discouraging and shocking. I had booked the three days stay for my brother and his family. The room on the first floor, had no good ventilation as the air conditioner was not functioning, TV remote also had problems and not even a small table fridge was present in the room etc.[ No intercom in the room, so for every problems or complaints, you needed to leave your room and report to the reception to formally lodge such...

"We had to book another apartment as the host told us that they did not have a key to the apartment that we booked. We could not find the owner anywhere, the phone was going to voicemail, my messages were going through on WhatsApp but they were not responding. We had to pay more money to book another place because the one we booked, no one could assist us and our safety was also compromised as it was getting late. We need a voucher refund ASAP!"

"This place is nothing as advertised and just a disappointment all around. If you are simply looking for a bed to sleep in and nothing more then it is fine. But the rooms are old and look as though they are hardly taken care of. It felt as though I was at a distant family member's house who wasn't prepared for me to stay the night."
