"My family of 3 stayed two nights at Hinodeya and it was a wonderful experience all around! This was our first visit to the Izu-Penninsula and we had such a great time. The owner and staff were so kind and accommodating, truly good spirits in this generational owned ryokan. The baths were very relaxing, the entire place was very clean and good spirits all around. 9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (7 reviews)
"Kitchen was very well-equipped, with a lovely big fridge. Appreciate the laundry machine available. Older place so a bit worn and dusty in places. Very spacious - yet somewhat awkward for just relaxing in. Single beds were not comfortable so we placed tri-fold mattresses on top. Orange duvet covers not a pleasant material to touch. We could not get hot water in the tub so we're not able to enjoy it! Air conditioning was good! Nice neighborhood. Lovely plants and birds just outside!"

"To raczej nie jest hotel, ale rodzaj ryokana o niższym standardzie, bez śniadania, ze spaniem na tatami i z prysznicem poza pokojem i niedziałającym małym onsenem. Zdjęcie mocno mylące, bo do morza daleko. Miła obsługa, mówiąca coś po angielsku, czysty pokój, sympatyczne koty chodzące po części wspólnej, ogólnie pozytywne wrażenie"
