Excellent hotel to stay in Udaipur, lot better than some hyped properties

The comfort of staying in this hotel is great. The rooms were massive, quite clean and with balcony view of the mountains. There is greenery all around. The food at their restaurant is superb, which is not true for the room dining per se. I would suggest to take the food at their restaurant rather than having it via room dining as the taste is better there and also the cost is a bit less. Their breakfast buffet has massive options and you would feel tired of eating but the options won't end....

I have been traveling for over 40 years and have stayed at thousands of hotels and I would rank this property as 1 of a kind and not to be missed if you are in Udipur - - - it is best by far the best in the area. The rooms with a lake/city view are well worth the extra cost and are an experience that you will always remember. DON'T MISS A LIFE EXPERIENCE ON THIS PROPERTY. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel Recently refurbished to a high standard. Staff attentive and very helpful. Particularly enjoyed the musicians in the evenings and also at breakfast. Ate in the restaurant on several occasions and food was very good. The manager Mr Deepak Devpura made a point of asking each day, how my stay was going. He and his team made my stay so enjoyable. Give this place a try, i dont think you will regret it

Gem of a place, absolute must for any period history experience seekers. Beautifully appointed and maintained heritage property on the water front with unparalleled night view of the City Palacae and Taj palace island on the lake. Great food (quality, safety, hygiene, flavour and service) at in-house Ambrai restaurant. Highly recommend.

I cannot fault this property all the food or the coffee shop the welcoming with guava juice after a dusty journey was very welcoming. They made registration easy where they came to me at the coffee shop to sign in the food was incredible and the chef came out to see me. There was a convention on while I was there where they were hundreds of people mainly men but they had a barbecue on grounds adjoining the hotel. Good and comfortable stay

The property was in an excellent location. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay. We ate at both in-house restaurants and the food was fantastic. Thank you for a wonderful visit.
