Shocking Experience From Start To Finish

Shocking experience from start to finish, I arrived at Eastern Mangroves Suites to be told I had to move to another hotel (Andalus Al Seef) because the hotel I'd booked (all the way IN FEBRUARY might I add) was overbooked! Had to get another taxi and pay for it all myself. I missed the qualifying for the Formula 1 because I had to move hotels and waited 2 hours to check-in at the new hotel. I recieved no compensation plus they tried to charge me over 1000 AED more than the actual price of my original room at Eastern Mangroves. I am extremely unhappy with the service at both hotels and how this mix-up happened. Stay well clear if you want a stress free and enjoyable stay.

We stayed here for one week in Octber 2014. First of all the staff are just amazing. They always greet you with a friendly hello and nothing is too much trouble. That said they are not overbearing. The accommodation is fantastic - very clean, very spacious and with beautiful views over the Mangroves. Location is excellent; not in the City but close enough to get to the Corniche, various malls or Yas Island cheaply by taxi. We had a two bedroom apartment which was ample for two adults and a 6 year old. The massive terrace was wonderful to sit out on at night. Each bathroom had robes, towels the size of blankets (!) and beautiful toiletries that were kept well stocked. The beds were mega comfy and wardrobe sapce plentiful (floor to ceiling wardrobes). There is a Waitrose supermarket on site along with a Johnny Rockets, Carluccios, BOA Steakhouse and Peppermill Indian Restuarant. Peppermill was excellent, definaltey worth a visit and good value for money. We would definately stay again.

Nice location but frustrating service

No microwave had to get our own. Housekeeping cleans kitchen n leaves bedroom n bathroom without towels n rolls. Service is slow. The only helpful person was Nadia. She helped me locate Indian palace at mushrif mall( food was though not good :( ) I won't stay there any more as I hate to get zero service

Perfect Hotel

The hotel was extremely amazing! U won't go wrong! We got upgraded from a one bedroom to a two bedroom! The grounds of the hotel are amazing! It has restaurants and a grocery store. The only complain is that they need to do better on getting the guest a taxi. Staff was perfect, very friendly & helpful. Check in & out was smooth with no problems. Will return!

Luxurious and relaxing hotel

The hotel staff was excellent and courteous. Most importantly the kids enjoyed the hotel, swimming pool and room was spacious. Hotel does not have in room dining service, and independent restaurants are on the ground floor. Nice restaurants and view of the hotel and nighttime is very relaxing. We would come back next time when visiting Abu Dhabi.

Great if you want to relax

The hotel was nice, however I have a pick with Hotels.com, When we arrived and tried to check in, there was NO confirmation in the hotel system, even Thu, I had a confirmation #. They put a hold on my credit card, for over the amount that Hotels.com had quoted. ( The hold is still ON). Until the next day when they received the confirmation. The staff were nice, the hotel is good, the location is great if you want to relax, the city is a bit far , we tried 2 of the restaurants in the hotel , one middle eastern ( give it 2.5 star) the food was not hot, and it was pricy . The other restaurant was an Indian Great food & Service. It worth the money. Overall we enjoyed over stay there.

The Mangroves

For a first impression I would say its unique the reason why because of the Mangroves and the ambient of the place it's is a Good experience although there was a party going that night which spoiled the theme of the place the staff are friendly and the facilities are good although they need to improve their services and appearance overall i would recommend it
