Easy walking distance to Ixtapa centro, where there are dozens of restaurants, bars, shops. Public beach access is an easy walk. Room and grounds were kept clean, pools were super nice. Our room was dated, but clean. Limited kitchen equipment, but fine for simple meals. I gave it 4 stars for the price point, the grounds and the staff. It's walled and gated with security roaming all the time.

20 years ago, this property would have been spectacular. However, today is is very run down. Our unit had sewer smells each morning, the power plugs didn’t work, many light switches were broken, the safe didn’t work and our towels were frayed and worn. Worst part, we had pre-paid and couldn’t change or leave early. Will never go back!!!!!!

Un buen lugar para descansar

Nos gustó hotel puerta del mar, pasamos unas maravillosas vacaciones en familia, el lugar es agradable, limpio y cerca del mar, con todos los servicios al alcance. No hay necesidad de usar vehículo salvo para ir a otros lugares. Ampliamente recomendable.

Se localiza a una cuadra de la zona comercial y a diez minutos caminando de la playa. El servicio del restaurant es bueno, pero podrían mejorarse los tiempos de atención teniendo más personal. Aún así es un lugar bastante recomendable.

Lo que oferto Expedia no van de acuerdo a las políticas del hotel, si bien me dieron un itinerario, resultó que no respetaron ese itinerario, fueron tres habitaciones y no sabían que tenían reserva, por lo que no estaban listas las habitaciones, chequen bien la información del hotel con la información que tienen ustedes! No fue buena experiencia.

Las habitaciones son de un tamaño perfecto para una familia, dos baños, sofas cama, cuentan con cocina y sus utensilios, ademas de refrigerardor y horno, todo para poder preparar y comer dentro de la habitacion.

No lo recomiendo

Mal internet, no me facturaron, instalaciones viejas y con animales( cucarachas, hormigas, termitas, etc), caro, inseguro ya que me corte con un mosaico de la cama ( tenía tanto los mosaicos quebrados como las varillas de fuera ya que era de concreto) cobraron estacionamiento, cuando llegas el check in te hacen firmar lista con las cosas qué hay en la habitación (toallas, sábanas, enseres etc) en general es mal servicio

Overall I liked the hotel. It was close to everything we needed. Check in was smooth. They were renovating the lobby when we went And we didn’t get a room key until day two in the afternoon which was a bit of a inconvenience as we had to go to the lobby to get someone to let us into our room each time we returned from being out. Room was spacious. Fridge was nice n cold as was the a/c. Shower pressure and temperature were great. The maid Erika was great. Thorough cleaning each day had no complaints there. Pool was great and cleaned daily and the water slide was fun. Massage by the pool was a nice way to start the morning. I would stay here again for sure. Keep in mind it’s not luxurious- it’s a great Mexican style hotel that suited us just fine.

No me agradó que te hacen sentir como delincuente y no un turista, te cuentan hasta los vidrios de las puertas y todos los utensilios que te dejan, preferible que no te los dejen a menos que tú los solicites, no cambiaban las sábanas NO ME AGRADO ESE TRATO
