"Igloo was cozy and more spacious than I thought. The food in the restaurant was amazing (especially the vegetarian options). Staff were friendly and the sauna/jacuzzi in the snow was a highlight. Sadly no Northern Lights, there was a lot of activity that week but too much cloud cover. Would definitely recommend."

"Close to the small but modern Ivalo airport. Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and bus station from where you can take a bus to Saariselka ski resort, which cost about 10 euros. The hotel is situated by a fabulous river and nature. You can book some amazing excursions from the hotel's ClubNord department. Extremely friendly and helpful staff."

"We requested round-trip airport transfers and had no issues at all. Everything was planned in great detail from check-in to check-out. Meals were served three times a day, and the food was delicious at every meal. There are many activities available at the hotel, all very well organized. We joined the husky tour and the Northern Lights hunt. Our room had a fireplace, and they provided unlimited firewood. The rooms were clean. Our only bad luck was not being able to see the Northern Lights...

"We stayed here for 3 nights and we actually saw some of the best Norther Lights for 2 nights! The cabin definitely has a fantastic view towards the sky and the towards north in general. The amount of activities available and timeslots available were more than sufficient for us to cover almost everything. All activities were managed and done very well and we enjoyed all thoroughly. "I stayed here for four nights in January and overall it’s a nice hotel. The food (breakfast was free) and dinner were pleasant. If you order from the buffet the food is of course of Finnish delicacy but the à la carte menu is good with lots of options and good prices for food and alcoholic drinks. The rooms themselves are pleasant slightly on the smaller side, but the bathroom is lovely with a great shower. The view from the bedrooms is also lovely, but there’s a couple of things that I could do...

"Vanha kattohuoneisto, viidelle hengelle ehdottomasti ahdas, ellei kyse ole aivan pienistä lapsista. Tuolit kolmelle. Ei pesukonetta, tiskit hoidetaan käsin, ja siltä ne näyttivätkin. Ok pesuhuone, pieni jääkaappi johon mahtuu max päivän eväät. Makuutilat matalat, sängyn toisessa päässä mahtuu juuri ja juuri istumaan, toisessa ei. Kesähelteillä todella kuuma, mutta huoneesta löytyy tuuletin vähän helpottamaan. Lähinnä yöpaikka, ei sovellu kummemmin oleskeluun. Erinomainen aamupala ravintola...
