I booked this hotel for my mom and my uncle based off the info I saw on Expedia. They both say they have had nothing short of a great experience here. In particular, they rave about a customer relations employee named Ferit. My mother says he is delightful and extremely attentive. From the beginning he has been super helpful and courteous, always asking if everything is alright and if they need anything at all. He speaks very good English which is a plus for tourists given the fact that at some hotels no one speaks English. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and the hotel as a whole is outstanding. The Root Karakoy comes highly recommended. I'm extremely grateful more than anything for Ferit and his constant attention to making sure my family is well tended to and comfortable. As I was speaking via video with my mother just now, he called the room to ask if they needed help with their bags (they were getting ready to check out) and he came right up. I was able to meet him virtually and sure enough, he was just as my mother described - pretty great. If this employee is to be considered for a promotion, please give it to him. Attention to detail and courtesy is extremely imperative for customers, especially in the hospitality business and for that, we are so grateful to Ferit.
