We found this hotel to be far enough away from the town centre to not be bothered by any noise but close enough for a nice stroll and the sunset over the harbour was lovely. The owners have obviously spent a great deal of time and money on this once run down to turn it into a comfortable hotel with more improvements planned.

We stayed at Hogwarts for a one night stay while visiting friends in Kent. We chose it because it was well within our budget and close to where we needed to be. We stayed in the basic caravan and to be honest we weren't expecting much but we were so impressed. It was exactly what we wanted for the night. For a budget van it was well kept, clean, comfortable and there was tea coffee sugar and milk in the fridge wating for us. We also had towels and minature toiletries provided which was a lovely...

Omg what a lovely place to stay. Clean, well maintained , very comfortable a really home from home. Breakfast was excellent .I would definitely stay again. So friendly nothing was to much trouble. Looking forward to going back when I can . So thank you very much to our hosts . Very impressed. 👍

Staff were wonderful as was the room and the food available in the restaurant. Only disadvantage was the lack of car parking but that still wouldn’t put us off returning.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Stayed in the Amy Johnson room full of lovely things relating to Amy. The whole place is a credit to the wonderful hosts. Fantastic breakfast. Exceptional

Fantastic room with great beams and a fantastic bath.

Great stay - convenient location just a short walk from the high st and attached to a fabulous restaurant. We stayed on the top floor - great room but a bit tricky for anyone who is less mobile or quite tall. Really great friendly service from the staff from start to finish.

I had a fabulous trip away for my birthday. This was the 3rd time coming here. The last time was 5 years ago for my 40th so thought I'd replicate it for my 45th. Both were solo trips. The pool is lovely, the massage and facial is booked were amazing and the afternoon tea was fabulous. The only downside was the dinner on my birthday. I'd stipulated it was my birthday on booking and been told they'd do something special for the dinner but other than a few sparkles on the table saying happy...

A fantastic stay and a brilliant evening had in the bar, they even had Elvis in the building! The food was great, the room very comfortable with a lovely bed and the welcome was very warm. Could not fault this place at all. Perfect for a overnight stay.

We arrived and we was greeted by lovely lady Debbie, the room, bed & shower all fabulous. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and lovely crest fruit, all you wanted. Having stayed at several places when we visit Southend, now we have found The Hamilton we would stay anywhere else. It's a real gem

We had a comfortable and friendly stay at St Peter’s B&B. We were given a ground floor converted stable room which was well furnished, comfortable and clean. The ensuite shower was amazing. Both complimentary continental buffet breakfast and hot cooked breakfast of your choice was available. The location was in the centre of Sandwich, less than 5 minutes walk to the shops. Beautiful find. Very impressed, everything was perfect. The room was amazing, especially waking up to the views in the sunshine. Everything we needed and the room was spotless. All the little details have been thought of. The breakfast was yummy and the owners very friendly. We even had a text the evening we arrived asking us what time we would like breakfast and the options available. Such a lovely personal touch. Will definitely go back and recommend to others.
