"No ice machine. Was to be replaced, not fixed, so apparently they aren't an inventory item. Ice was available at the front desk, but clerks had to run to the pantry and obtain it necessitating a bit of a wait. Also, can't believe I had to pay $5 per night to park in an open lot. Nothing secure about it. Real $ grab."

""We frequent Charleston for weekend getaways and decided to try this hotel for the first time. It appears to be a fairly new property with a great location and nice photos, but the room amenities were surprisingly dated. The room looks nice at first glance, but...this is the first hotel we’ve stayed at in years that didn't have USB ports. We actually had to go to CVS to buy a wall plug—frustrating since we have plenty at home! The closet door would not stay closed so we had to put a washcloth at the door to keep it closed. Additionally, they charge $5/day for parking (which is usually free in Mount Pleasant) and the bathroom has no exhaust fan to clear out steam. For a newer building, we expected a more modern experience." We will not be staying here again or recommending it to anyone. Disappointed."
