"Even if you choose to pay at the property and pay extra for it, they still charge you 3 days before because god forbade you from showing up, and even if you are an Expedia Platinum member, thats there policy ? Then remove the pay at property option, and when you ask them about it they say it's our policy and cancel your reservation, and offcourse its 3 days before your trip, and you already have plans, so you have no option but to go to the property and pay, also the room does not have a mini fredgie so if you have to put any midicene you have to put it at the reception. If this is a 4-star property, then I am the king of England. The only saving grace to this " Hotel" is the location, that's it. I recommend any other hotel other than this one; this is just a glorified motel, not more, certainly not worth the money "

"This was our 2nd stay at this property. Sadly a whole host of "niggles" from the moment we arrived. Very warm welcome and support from staff throughout, but overall not the standard you should expect for this price point. We had to change rooms due to being given incorrect (accessible) room - we had paid for the one bedroom apartment and whilst technically this could be classed as such, it was not fit for purpose. Shower was set only at waist height, radiator broken in bathroom, poor layout of lighting. We were moved the next day. Unfortunately the shower in this room was also broken and required a call to reception to fix. Due to "works", the water was routinely off each morning! There was no notification of this so you could be halfway through ablutions to find the water simply stopped. No cleaning at all during our 5 night stay. This would be ok if cleaning equipment were provided in the flat! It's essential to have a dustpan and brush as minimum, given that it is set up as self catering! The whole flat (and corridors) needs a good deep clean - superficial cleaning seems to take place but the skirtings, floor and especially the balcony area needs thorough cleaning. We found cigarette ends and a champagne cork on our balcony, along with the general build up of grime. We also had to chase up batteries for the remote control and a spare light bulb. These things should be routinely checked. Staff were always responsive when we raised these issues but we shouldn't need to. "

"I had a very nice time at Maison La Boheme. But, you need to be aware of a couple of things. Because this is an "aparthotel," it means there is no front desk, no interaction with a front office staff, and nowhere to go if you want to ask anything in person. There's a concierge, who is reachably by email. It's more of an apartment, rather than a hotel, and if you like that sort of thing, you'll love this place. I was on the top floor (of three floors), and there's no lift. 35 steps to get up to my room. Again, if you don't mind that, it's great. The rooms are superb. Even my little studio was unexpectedly spacious, and you can't really tell that from the web site photos. Really charming, really comfortable. You access the hotel about 20 feet down a secret little alleyway-street, enter a code on a keypad, and you're instantly isolated from the absolute chaos of Place Du Tertre. If you're going anywhere off the top of the hill, there are stairs. A LOT of them. Be ready for extensive stair climbing when you return to your room after a long day of Paris adventures. If the giant stairways are too much, take the funiculare, by Sacre Coeur. It is totally worth it. In conclusion, a wonderful place. You should definitely consider it, and it's different than a standard hotel stay, which can be a lot of fun."
