"The room was clean. The staff were very polite and helpful. Parking the car was the only thing that was difficult if there wasn’t a space at the hotel."

"plenty of parking, room was very smart and clean furniture was lovely, iron and iron board was on the landing out side if needed and a room fan... extra teas and coffees. breakfast was good. except mushroom had been cooked with herbs and tomatoes could been cooked long. other than that all good throughout"

"An ideal base for a holiday in Ilfracombe. Great views from the Torrs and our balcony had a stunning view of the the town and the sea. All the staff are first rate, as is the food! Parking too and it's on the coastal path and just a few minutes walk to the town and harbour."

"This is a good, reliable, clean, budget place to stay. We used it when walking Stage 4 of the SW Coast Path - very convenient. Easy to park round the corner at Ropery Road car park. Hearty breakfast available (actually at sister hotel, The Royal Britannia Hotel opposite) overlooking the harbour. We had a fantastic meal at 'Giovanni and Luca' Italian restaurant nearby (booking essential in summer)."

"I originally stayed at this B&B about 20 years ago while walking the coastal path, & decided to return as the village was in an ideal place for our touring holiday. The steep driveway & smallish space made for tricky parking with a large car, but doable. Our room was clean & comfortable, if a little dated in style. The owners were welcoming & helpful. Breakfast the next morning set us up for the day. We had a meal in the pub near the beach, & took a stroll around the village."
