"Car park out back easy access. Got keys was told if we didn't like we could change.. looked at room it was not bad but a long way from lift as can't do stairs so they moved us straight away. The new room was twice the size of our lounge. The bed was the biggest bed I've ever seen. So comfy too.. ensuite shower room with toiletries.. lovely soft towels. Fancy coffee machine.. tea and biscuits too.. Breakfast was great too a massive range of all the breakfast favourites all hot too.. eat as much as you like.. if you had to be picky there was no mushrooms.. but the fruit selection was great.. perfect fried eggs too.. will book again next year too. Thanks to the receptionists for the friendly helpful service. Also the nice friendly waiting staff.. thanks to you all for our lovely stay for 3nights. "

"Very good value. Very approachable and helpful staff. Resourceful and thoughtful furnishing of a small room with several things many more expensive hotels lack or are too often forgotten e.g. adequate wardrobe, places to hang bath AND hand towels (many properties seem not to have thought this to be a bathroom necessity), a bath mat (yes, some places fail to provide one), easily-opening window for fresh air (as opposed to an ancient, rickety sash that is blocked from opening more than 2 inches). Unrestricted street parking right opposite - very useful for those of us with Blue Badges - though spaces might be filled if you come late. I will return."

"We had bookedcthexroom with breakfast buffet but there was no buffet it was instead a menue breakfast with limitation order. As we complained about it received free breakfast as a buffet the next day through the organisation of James at the reception.Thank you again James! "

"The Lookout is in a great central location with a good sized car park, which you have to pay for separately. There is a bar behind the reception desk where we bought a drink. Our room was large and the bed clean and comfortable, but everything looked a bit tired- the cushions were stained and the curtains had a few holes. The bathroom was also large but dated. The breakfast was good and the hot items were well cooked. I would stay again, but I feel that a few updates are needed."
