The mural in the bedroom wall was beautiful. The view of the street was perfect to relax and people watch. Short walk to restaurants and shops. Best beds in Europe. It was clean. Bakery next door. We did a tour all over Europe and this hotel was our favorite.

Great location, excellent service - staff friendly and competent without any pretence. Rooms are not cramped and very nice finishes. Pool does the job on hot days but busy and noisy for it to be a relaxing place. Bike hire is expensive but very handy.

Hotel staff were uniformly excellent and very knowledgeable about the area. While the hotel is "pricey", it is definitely a 5-star hotel, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for that type of experience.
