This is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. So bad, that we checked out rather than spend a third night there.
On arrival, we were told that the twin room we had booked did not exist, because only their deluxe rooms had twin beds. We were then told we could upgrade, at our own expense, to get a twin. We of course refused, having booked and received confirmation from Expedia that we had a room with multiple beds.
The “manager” and two other staff members stood in the room with the two of us, explaining first that it was Expedia’s fault that a room that did not exist had been advertised, then they blamed Treebo for posting the room. The “manager” went on to tell us that he is always getting these complaints; why on earth is he or Treebo not resolving it then?
In the end, they offered to put a mattress on the floor in the double room (essentially killing almost all the floor space) which was hardly acceptable, but we no longer wished to argue the case.
The only member of staff I can say anything positive about is the one woman working on reception, who was friendly and appeared apologetic.
After check-in, we discovered that the room (301) was incredibly dirty. The floor was gritty, surfaces dusty, and we had cockroaches in the grubby bathroom. We had a pill, a toothpick, and scraps of paper stuck to the floor and a massive lump of hair appeared when we ran the shower. I cannot write more as I’ve reached the character limit!
