Enjoyed the stay and it would indeed be memorable
This smoke-free hotel features a restaurant, an outdoor pool and a fitness centre. Additionally, conference space and an arcade/games room are on-site. All 24 rooms offer kitchenettes and TVs.
Reasonable place but expect to shell out serious change for anything -- lodging, food (pretty much at the hotel -- reasonable quality for a monopoly), safaris, etc. Staff is friendly, some more than others. Well maintained grounds. Rooms are sufficiently clean. Bathroom is only fair -- can use some upgrades. A/C is musky -- avoid and use fans. Exterior of buildings needs to be better maintained. For a short stay, go day 1 by noon, catch the 3pm safari, stay overnight, leave the next day. Evening entertainment by the hotel staff is tacky but at least they try. Safari in a private jeep is good. Knowledgeable driver but spotty english. Lasts 2 hrs -- will see deer (many many), wild elephants, bison (gaur), birds but cats are rare I am told except in Dec-Jan. Do ask to feed the domesticated elephants and watch them crunch coconuts like they were M & Ms. When leaving, do visit the Tibetan monastery and township -- 1/2 hr away. Tip generously. The workers probably dont get much of what you end up paying the resort.
