Loved the building along with the fitness suite. Staff very helpful. Good range of breakfasts. Walking distance to restaurants etc... Would happily stay there again. Who said its grim up north ! The people are lovely !
Very nice hotel in an unusual location - expected it to be more rural

The photo on website is actually the back of the hotel. The entrance and therefore front of hotel is totally underwhelming. Looks more like blocks of flats! Definitely needs refurbishment inside, carpets stained and well worn. Buffet breakfast had little choice, possibly because it had not been replenished when we went in to eat at 9am (served til 9.30). The cooked breakfast was average.
Our executive room had 2 double beds which was great, bedding clean, pillows could have been bigger. Towels in bathroom good quality.
Bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly, pubic hair on the wall of the bathroom and the Soap tray.
Damp stain on the ceiling of my room
Will not be staying again
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was very good and there was a good selection for breakfast. The pool and spa also was very good and met our requirements

The staff at this hotel make it, they are friendly and helpful at all times.
We stayed at the hotel for the New Years Eve Gala. The food was excellent as was the service. The hotel however is just a little tired looking.! The rooms are extremely old fashioned and the beds quite small. Our room was huge though, as was the bathroom And it was really clean.
I would stay here again but the whole place could really do with a re-fit
Not great. Room was full of cobwebs! Corner of short dirty. Bed uncomfortable. Unbelievably noisy! Could hear noise through ceiling & walls. Restaurant stopped serving at 8:30pm - Ridiculous
I've stayed at Willerby Manor a couple of times and never had a problem. However on this stay there was an incident in the car park and when I asked a member of staff to review the CCTV footage I was told the footage didn't show anything. I phoned back after I checked out to be told that they did have information. Very disappointed that the staff phoned me to lie about the situation initially
Just an overnight but made use of the pool
The pool and sports area were great and are more than I was accustomed to
Room and bathroom were good size and bathroom had been nicely updated
Had a few problems with the restaurant and cooked breakfast but they were sorted efficiently
The room was in need of a clean as there were cobwebs in the corners of the room and the bathroom also was also in need of attention. The soap dispensers were empty. At breakfast, cutlery was greasy as was the juice jug handle.
The room needs an update as it felt like we'd gone back to the 70s.

The staff was very friendly and helpful every time i contact them. Very good
Room was lovely , overlooking the garden . Nice bed and great shower . We ate in the Fig Brasserie and were disappointed . I had a goats cheese salad w. Goat's cheese was nice but just accompanied by a few slices of tomato. Seabass was ok , asparagus cooked well but served with a hard round of I think mashed potato . I couldn't work it out . Just needs a bit more care as the price suggests .
Found reception staff extremely friendly and helpful. The pool, spa and sauna in good clean condition. Very nice modern bathroom. Room was clean and welcoming.

No lift.
Great brasserie.
Friendly, helpful staff.
Big rooms.
Good breakfast.
Decoration getting a bit dated.
It was a lovely hotel but I didn't like paying £15 early check in when your room is already for you anyway

Tired but worth putting up with
Stayed for 3 nights. The hotel is tired and could do with some new carpets to be fair along the corridors to room. My room was lovely, spacious and a lovely size bathroom. Spa area was very nice and enjoyed the pool, sauna, steam rooms and jacuzzi. Breakfast and food in restaurant very good
What made this hotel and the reason I would stay there again is the staff. Every single person working there was so polite, friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. thanks xx
