"Lovely small hotel with a few areas to improve - room 10 the radiator didn’t work but they had left a small plug in , it didn’t heat the room so room was very cold . The bathroom had no extractor working so got very steamy and couldn’t use mirror . Fridge wasn’t secure in unit so fridge fell forward , TV had limited channels and could not get a response on how to access through pin . The hotel was beautifully restored and exceptionally clean. Would stay again if the room was heated "

"Great communication as a self check in with a lock box, plenty of private parking next to the accommodation. Carlton Towers has a tea room within walking distance which was convenient. Room was big with everything we needed for 2 nights. Would recommend and stay again if back in the area."

"Beautiful lodge in a beautiful private peaceful location. Very well equipped and furnished. Lovely and warm with underfloor heating. Blessed with warm sunshine we made the most of the deck, sun loungers and hot tub. Access to the nearby spa at the golf club was a lovely bonus. Owner was friendly and helpful. Lots of safe roads for cycling around the location. Would definitely stay again. "
