"A really lovely, smooth and friendly welcome from Jane, despite the late hour. I met their dog, who is lovely! Great room, very comfy, very peaceful. Excellent bathroom facilities and a ginormous bath mat which was very luxurious. I requested an early breakfast which was a bit cheeky given that it was the weekend but Jane could not have been more accommodating. A truly great little place. I'd have loved to stay for longer but unfortunately this was a work trip so time was short."

"Lovely property that has been tastefully renovated over the past years. The gardens are beautiful and a lovely place to be on a sunny day. The hotel is small which gives it a very comfortable feel.
Service is a little haphazard. Lot of young staff that don’t have the experience to deliver the service you would associated with such a lovely traditional hotel. "

"The hotel was absolutely stunning and the grounds were gorgeous. It felt like a real luxury place. Our room was huge (deluxe) with a gorgeous jet bath. Although the decor is very dated, it didn’t take away from the experience. The view from our room was magical. The breakfast was delicious and such good quality. "
