"Liked the location, style and size of the rooms and friendliness of staff. Not so keen on the menu (choice and portion size of some main courses) and thought drinks were quite expensive."

"This was ideally situated for our needs to visit Lindisfarne and Bamburgh Castle. The room was clean and spacious and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Fantastic view across to Bamburgh Castle. Good WiFi and plenty of plugs. Breakfast and evening meals were also good. Would definitely come again."

"The owner was very helpful and kind, he whipped up a delicious Scottish breakfast each morning, and both the B&B and the town were amazing. Would love to do the whole trip over again someday, I couldn’t recommend more"

"The room on the Annex had paper thin walls and we could hear conversations next door. Fortunately for most of the week neighbours retired early. The last night the occupants came back drunk and played loud music along with foul language until 1am. Not ideal and if this had been the first night we would have requested a move. Otherwise all good"

"Ample parking basic room but comfortable easy walking distance to town around 10 minutes and 20 minutes to the castle if going we had dinner at hotel food was excellent breakfast every morning was very good staff were excellent and very friendly"
