"Everything great except bathroom barn door only opened halfway "

"The staff was very helpful. The room was quiet (on 17th floor) and comfortable. The restaurant has a large excellent menu, and there is a nice lobby bar. A great place to stay at the Texas Medical Center."

"Did not know by the pictures that this was a motel, not a hotel. They did not have a room on the first floor which posed problems for my husband and I due to age and health reasons. We thought there would be an elevator, not stairs. The beds were very springy and bouncy. Not super comfortable. There were soap bars and lotion but nothing else, not even Kleenex. Room was clean and ac worked good. One good surprise was a ceiling fan over the beds, first time I’ve seen that."

"We arrived really early and since our room was ready, they were nice enough to check us in and they gave us a king room instead of a queen!! Owner is extremely nice!! The breakfast was pretty good. Cook to order eggs. The first day the cook didn’t even check to see if I wanted any and she was rude to my daughter by saying “move” when my daughter was standing in her way. The cook wasn’t a very pleasant person. The half and half was spoiled. When things on the table ran out, they weren’t replenished. The room and property could definitely use some updating, but everything was very clean. I got some good sleep in the bed, so it was comfortable. "

"The Blossom Hotel is absolutely amazing. The staff was friendly, the room was gorgeous and the lobby is beautiful. Every area of the hotel was clean. The breakfast was delicious. I stayed for one night and hated that my stay couldn’t be longer. I will definitely stay at The Blossom when I am in Houston again!"

"Old facility; uncomfortable beds and furniture; crispy carpet in room (yuk!); limited onsite dining; noisy area with emergency vehicles coming and going to nearby hospitals, hotel patio area on 4th floor was dirty, not well maintained, and very uninviting. Definitely not worth the per night room rate."
