"Fantastic stay. We have booked to go back later in the year. Staff very friendly and the breakfast exceptiinally good. The rooms are comfortable, but the whole place needs a bit of a refurb. "

"Great location near harbour, with easy access to buses, boat trips etc. Close to shops and restaurants. Especially liked the lift from the lobby to the street below, cutting off the steeper walk from the harbour. Hotel was clean, and the included breakfast had good selection of hot and cold items."

"Directly across the road from Exeter Central Station. Very friendly staff. A floor-standing fan in the room that was very welcome. A good selection of hot & cold food at the buffet breakfast. Luggage storage before and after check-in/out."

"Absolutely superb ! Like stepping on board the titanic! Fantastic decor. Staff! efficient polite very clean and tidy. Beautiful building inside. Outside building needs some renovation but ok . Huge spacious rooms with everything you need maybe a fridge be useful particularly when hot weather. But all things considered very good. Price very good for July no issues with that . Staff friendly and helpful. Don’t believe all reviews! Some people are too quick to pull a business down. For this hotel comments were about thread bear and tiered! Maybe a bit , but I love that used patina and for a building of its age it’s just character and a fabulous example of a standard from a bygone age . Thank goodness some people keep these hotels alive and kicking. 🙏"
