"Gorgeous view and location. Was unaware that the restaurant was closed due to flooding which was inconvenient as when we booked it said that the restaurant was still operational. Everything was a bit run down but clean and smelled great. Shower appeared to be a bit dirty around the edges and sink took a while to drain and toilet didn't flush well. "I wasn't told about breakfast sign in and the procedure and if this was mentioned on arrival check in, it would make things easier and less complicated. Staff / Room service knocked on the door while I was brushing my teeth, 3 knocks, deep and 1sec later the door opened up, which I commented, do you always just come into rooms this quick? Where I got a reply, there was no answer so I thought no-one was in the room. I wash brushing my teeth but luckily not on the toilet having a #2 or walking around the room naked. This is also at 8am and what if I was having a sleep in till 9? These are considerations that should take place at a professional organization."
