Great location. Convenient parking. We stayed here on either side of our holiday in Hobart and made for a great base for a comfortable night before & after travel. The value for the money is outstanding. Just what we needed and the little kitchenette and decent-sized bathroom were welcome amenities not usually found at this price point.

Overall the stay was good. The building and rooms are old but clean. The air conditioner was reverse cycle which was excellent in one room but did not really warm the main bedroom- we had to leave the door open. The fridge was noisy. The hot water was great and lots of water pressure. Location was very central and an easy drive to places.

We have stayed there several times with work and personal business in town. The room we stayed in this visit was by far the best one, great bed and shower. The kitchen was the cleanest to date. We had one issue with the main door key that kept getting stuck in the lock. But the next morning a kind staff member helped me get back inside when I got locked out thanks

the contact phone number to advise of my late arrival did not respond; the expedia number similarly. I travelled for 2 hours uncertain whether I would have access to a room. the manager greeted me and gave me my key and made light of my concern. the room smelled musty and dirty. the kitchen drawers had crumbs and was grotty. The bathroom grouting was grotty. It was an old house-charming floors. the bed was really comfortable, clean sheets. I would not stay again.

Great Value with Beautiful River Views

The reception and courtyard are very neat and clean, and the view of the Derwent River is beautiful. Although the rooms are small, they are well-equipped with everything you need, including a TV, microwave, fridge, toaster, dishes, and kettle, which is very convenient. The parking area is spacious with easy access, and the Wi-Fi is fast. Overall, itโ€™s great value for money and in a good location.
