"This was a most charming boutique hotel we loved coming home to on our 5 day stay in Catania. Our room was huge and comfortable and the outside space was great for an aperol spritz and cheese from the market at the end of the evening. It was too cold to use the patio, but it looked so inviting. Breakfast was both hot and cold with made to order eggs, bacon, and cappuccino. We learned that Liberty means art nouveau, and the hotel was a beautiful reflection of that. It was a home until early 1900 and only has 18 rooms. The staff was kind and helpful both at breakfast and the front desk. I would defiantly recommend this hotel to friends and family visiting Catania. "

"Fabulous location but hotel needs a lot of maintenance, ie most of the lifts were broken and our mini fridge was extremely noisy so had to unplug it. Shower ok but drained very slowly. Sheets ok but bedcover very very old and didn’t want to touch "

"Stayed first night in a seaview room, it was so noisy both from the street and from other guests in room next to us. Second night we were moved to another much more quieter room. Management was very kind and breakfast was fine. Walking distance to historic town, buses and train station."

"We had superior room with terrace, sea view and was perfect, better in real then on the picture, clean. Breakfast okey. Staff very friendly and helpful. Area nice, 20 minutes drive to centre. "
