"We had a wonderful visit in Savannah staying at the Desoto. The hotel is very nice and all of the staff is friendly and ready to help. The prices at the restaurant are on par if not a little cheaper than most of the nearby options. Be prepared to pay around $50 a night to have your car valet parked in the hotel basement. This hotel does not offer self parking. "

"This place was a great pick! Right in historic downtown, walkable to so many restaurants, shops, squares. The trolley picks you up across the street for the tour of the rest of downtown. You can purchase tickets in the lobby. Our room was very nice and comfortable. The roof top pool has a stunning view! Breakfast by Gail was delicious. When we got there they had water gushing from the ceiling in the lobby. Everyone was very appoligetic and did all they could to get it fixed quickly. The water was off for a while but it wasn't too long. All in all it was a lovely time in Savannah."
