"Didn’t even stay at the hotel, booked for 1 night and it messed up. Refused to give a refund or anything. Wouldn’t stay here if my life depended on it. If someone offered me all the money in the world and told me all I had to do was stay here for 1 day, 1 night. I’d probably pass on it. "Our oldest daughter is a student at North Carolina Central University, so we stay here anytime we are visiting Durham from NY. The hotel is in a great location and very safe area. Close to the highway but very quiet. There is a gas station across the street which is convenient. The hotel is very quiet but also family friendly. There is also free parking available The rooms are always very clean and the beds are so comfortable. The staff are wonderful and the breakfast offered is very good. The pool is great for a quick swim in the summer. "

"Everything was great but three things: The breakfast is very lacking. Options are extremely limited and the elevators need to be cleaned better. The paint on the door frame of the bathroom and in other places of the room was terrible. Horribly done."
