We received a warm welcome whereby Natasha showed us where to park, where to eat, the property and extras like mini bar and fruits. As it was Christmas Eve she also reminded us that places close early and that we needed a reservation for restaurants nearby. The rooms were clean and cosy with fluffy duvets and pillows. Outstanding welcome from the owners. Fabulous location for the Cliff walk which was absolutely stunning. Little touches that made our stay special. Breakfast was amazing and the porridge was delicious! Off road safe parking👍 Our room was beautiful overlooking the mountains with a large veranda. More like a 5 star suite. Gorgeous room scents! A short but very sweet stopover for us at this lodge. The staff are beyond excellent and offered great service, activities and fabulous food. So glad we stayed and suggest you do too.

Clean rooms, kitchen facilities were good as we arrived on Christmas Day so nothing was open. Glad to be able to cook a meal for my family on this day. Hot tub was a lovely touch. The fridge was also very useful since we had a few items to chill. The proximity to the shark dive center is also very convenient. Definitely can recommend.

Lovely location, rooms and super welcoming and helpful owners and staff. We were unable to leave due to flooding in the area so had the pleasure of staying one more day.

Abalone Guest House is great. Excellent welcome and hospitality. Good location overlooking the ocean towards Voelklip about 5k to the east of Hermanus.

The location is good - short walk to cliff path for whale watching and easy walk to restaurants. Peaceful with great views of the golf course and mountains. Hosts were helpful with tips on things to do and places to eat.

The propertyvis spotless clean. The staff is very helpful to provide information around the area and further afield. Highly recommended.

Right from our check in and all the time we were there all the staff were so friendly and just excellent. Adrian was so friendly and could not have been more helpful The hotel itself was perfect for us, small, quiet and we just loved the relaxed atmosphere. They had a small bar area in the reception which works on an honesty basis.
