"The hotel is connected to the terminal via a walkway which avoids having to walk outside. The facilities are modern and fresh and the room has aircon which blows nice and cold. There was a stain on the back of the seat next to the bed which is a little off putting considering how spotless everything else is."

"Everything from check in to leaving was completely smooth. The gentleman at the check in counter was friendly and quick. We also grabbed a drink at the bar and enjoyed it while relaxing in the lobby. This place is also great for kids. They have multiple games available to play such as pool, a large connect 4 and Jenga. They also have a photo booth. The vibe is awesome and very inviting. I will say the area around the hotel is a little sketchy. We walked to the end of the block and there was a sign for happy hour, but when we asked the bartender inside he promptly told us that there is no happy hour and that the sign was old. It certainly didn't look old to me. There are some good food places nearby. We got a doner wrap from one of the small eateries nearby. I wouldn't walk around outside at night however."

"If you have to stay at an airport hotel, the Hilton London Heathrow Airport is a very solid choice. My flight was canceled after I had already spent the previous night at another Heathrow airport hotel, so ideally I would have simply extended my stay there. Unfortunately, that hotel had been so dirty, smelled terrible, and had such unfriendly service that I checked out and moved to the Hilton instead. The difference was immediate. The staff at the Hilton were incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was very clean, and the sheets were wonderfully crisp and fresh. The lobby area was also spacious and inviting, making it a perfectly comfortable place to be stuck for an unexpected extra night. It is convenient for getting to the airport, which is really the most important thing in this situation. My only complaint was the pricing in the little lobby market. I believe they were charging around $6 for a bottle of water, which felt absolutely ridiculous, even for an airport hotel. Otherwise, I had no complaints. It may not be a destination hotel, but when your flight is canceled and you need somewhere clean, comfortable, and convenient, this is exactly what you want."
