"The hotel is very well located, near the most must seen attractions on the city. The breakfast is great, with excellent choices. The coffee in the breakfast coffee machine is not so good, but there is an espresso coffee machine at the bar. I did not like the food on their restaurant, but there are another places to eat nearby. " Check in was smooth although there was a short wait due to a queue. Reservation staff friendly. Breakfast was very good, which to us were a range of healthy foods on offer. Room was of reasonable size with double bed, a small working table with chair in front of the TV, and free coffee making facilities. Unfortunately, there was no near power point socket at the working table which would make things easier when working though not an issue. Location of the hotel was definitely good for us, which was adjacent and within a less than five minutes walk after exiting the Helsinki Central Station. Centrally located with easy access to buses, foods (restaurants too), shopping malls and within walking distance to the Helsinki Market Square and some other attractions. Overall, Scandic Helsinki Hotel is a very good, nice, and value for money place to stay. We would certainly return to stay on our next visits and would highly recommend to others too."
