"Great location, it’s a 15 min walk to old central Bruges. The room is a little small, but comfortable, although some nicer pillows would be good. Be aware the walk up is steep and narrow, like so many European rooms. The breakfast part is a little pricey but nice, I think if you book it in advance you can save a few$. The parking is close, but it’s a tight fit in the garage for anything small suv size or bigger. Overall a great stay."

"We loved Barabas and would book again if returning to Bruges. Our host was warm, friendly, and helpful. Check-in was a breeze, and breakfast had enough choices to make everyone in our group happy. "When we arrived, the only sign on the door was in Flemish. After using google translate, we tried all 3 bells as instructed but got no answer. We had to look up on Expedia to find the telephone number. The owner answered, and said a neighbour would be along shortly to let us in. He hung up on me whilst i was asking about the promised parking. The neighbour was pleasant but spoke only Flemish- i speak English, French, German, italian and Danish- so communication was hard. I had chosen this b&b...

"This is fantastic hotel and the decor is absolutely superb, the bedroom was luxurious and bed huge and comfy, the shower was absolutely fantastic, the staff can not do enough for you. The grounds are secluded garden that has a bathing pool (not heated ) in the centre but the garden is extremely well maintained and they have several patios with very comfy seating and there is a canal at the end of the garden. They also have a wellness centre and a jacuzzi which we didnt try on our stay"

"Excellent B&B with a lovely room, extremely comfortable king-size bed, great shower, nice views from the room’s balcony, friendly staff, and wonderful breakfasts! The B&B is on a beautiful quiet street about a 10-minute walk from the busier/tourist parts of the city. We appreciated the walk after big breakfasts (at the hotel) and dinners (at restaurants around town). There’s an amazing 14th century home/museum at the end of the street, Adornes Domien, that’s worth a visit. "

"Such a beautiful property, we loved the modern but cosy design. Exceptionally clean and finished to a high standard. The room we stayed in was spacious and we found it very comfortable with everything we needed. I liked that once checked in, we had a code to access the front door and our room so we could come and go as we pleased, much like in a hotel. Husband and wife team at the property were friendly, helpful and not intrusive. We were given a mobile number to call if we needed anything....

"The building has been stylishly renovated and our room beautiful. We were always happy to return to the room after a day out exploring Bruge. Having Netflix available was great too. We are just a short walk away from the Market and other sights. Also having a card to keep rather than keys in our pockets to access the building and room was more practical when walking about. Caroline is a lovely hostess, friendly and very helpful. When we were stuck on where to have dinner when a lot places...

"Beautiful, old building with an entire floor to yourself. Spacious room with separate sitting area and kitchenette. Convenient locations to the center of Bruges. Spectacular hostess and full breakfast with made to order eggs, fresh bakery breads, cold cuts, cheese, and fruits. Cappuccino machine and teas."

"Some friends and I decided to have a quiet girls weekend away for the Christmas markets. This BnB was the perfect place to stay while we enjoyed Bruges. The gentleman who ran it was polite, helpful, informative and went to the trouble of remembering our breakfast and drink preferences. A little Christmas gift was given on check out, which was unexpected and kind. The house was beautifully presented with a lovely warm atmosphere and Christmas decorations. Beds were comfortable, the room...

"The underground parking terrified me and parking was paid. The outside parking was much better. The rooms were small but well equipped. Communication was great. We were asked to leave the room cleaned. Which we did but it felt we left it cleaner than it was when we arrived. Overall we ate our own dinner which was purchased at the grocery store a 5 min walk away. And my dad was able to swim and workout. So it did meet the majority of our needs. "

"We have stayed here before and lives our stay both times. The only problem was finding parking last time, but it was solved during this visit. You can pay for cheap parking during check-in. "

"No towels… must rent them. No hand soap in bathroom or kitchen. Bed is not made must make it yourself. Dead bugs on floor. Hallway area was run down and smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. We paid extra for an ocean view room and did have a great view and overall felt relatively safe. "
