"The property itself is just as described with all amenities and conveniences for a luxurious short term stay. Our only complaint would be the constant gardening - sometimes during early morning hours. One other small issue - we paid extra for hotel access to the Mauna Kea and Hapuna hotels but the Hapuna was under massive construction with jack hammers etc, in hearing distance from the pool and beach. Needless to say, we didn't go there again during our stay."

"The condo was spacious for a family of 5. The kitchen contained everything you need to prepare any type of meal including the added benefit of some spices, seasonings, and plenty of pots and pans. The master bed was extremely soft such that it was almost impossible not to get sucked into it. Master bathroom was huge with 2 sinks, a large, jetted tub, and a very large shower. "We had a great stay in condo 4E. Very roomy very clean. The grounds are beautiful. One of the best sunsets of my trip was by the pool. Asked for someone to come fix my patio light but that didn't happen. Overall great time and would recommend."

"This is the best hotel that we have stayed at. The amenities, staff, rooms, the spa, the adult pool, the food, the beach…all 5 stars! Swam with manta rays and did the longest running luau that was well done. Have been coming here since the 80’s and it only keeps getting better. We love the Mauna Kea and the Big Island of Hawaii."

"We rented a unit on the second floor of building E. It had a large, well-furnished balcony with a fabulous view of the sunset each evening. The location was great and included a designated covered parking space. Access to the exclusive Mauna Lani Beach Club was a huge perk. The shops at Mauna Lani were a 2-min drive away and there was a shop in that location to rent snorkel gear. This area of the island was perfect for a relaxing stay for our family of four. The washer and dryer in the unit were very helpful and the option to cook and eat in the unit was also a huge bonus."
