Booked for a couple of nights while visiting alton towers and found the place superb value. Food in restaurant good and staff were very friendly and helpful. Also didn't add breakfast at the time of booking and when we asked to add for the 2 days when checking in the receptionist added for no extra charge. Would definitely and will be returning and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone else visiting the area.

Fantastic stay and facilities, we thoroughly enjoyed out little hideaway. This place is a hidden gem and we definitely will be back. Only downfalls are the fact that it isn't advertised so well as this property has huge potential, gym is a little on the small side and it most definitely could do with a onsite restaurant for gain revenue for the place to maximise the income but it didnt effect our stay as we had all the facilities we needed in our lodge and planned on going out anyhow.

We booked this hotel due to its location to Donington Circuit. The location was perfect, the circuit being about 10 minutes drive away (maximum). The owners were lovely and very friendly, Beverley helped us find somewhere to eat on a Sunday when everywhere else was closed or had finished serving. Although the hotel is on the main road, the small town of Melbourne is quiet and the road isn't busy - even on a bank holiday weekend.
