Remember the mansion was built a long time ago, so renovations have to work within historic building protections. Whether breakfast or dinner, the dining experience is lovely. "

"We were attending an event at Harewood House so only needed a one night stay. Haley's Hotel is set in a lovely quiet area with some beautiful Grade II listed houses in a tree lined road. The hotel was very clean, comfortable with a charming country house elegance.The staff were very welcoming and Haley's has the added bonus of on site parking. "Rooms here are great, each one is quirky in their own way, and a lovely touch to have radio playing in room as background music on arrival. The 2 ladies that greeted us on arrival were welcoming and showed us all (4 guests) to our rooms. Evening meal in the bar was great too, cold and frosty outside, the pub reminded me as something out of The Holiday!!!"

"Absolutely worst hotel experience I have ever had. I was put in room #1 which is right next to the door to the reception as well as the stairwell. The room has _zero_ sound insulation so every time someone exited or entered the reception area, the door would slam shut. The room vibrated with every slam. Additionally, you heard every stomp of feet on the staircase. I checked out at 3:15am because it was a waste of time to stay any longer."

"We were attending an event at the Royal Amouries Museum and the hotel is perfectly located for this - just a couple of minutes walk from the main entrance. The room we had was very spacious with a large bed and sofa bed. Perfect for the three of us. The shower was powerful and had the addition of shampoo and body wash.
