From the pictures, this hotel seems amazing and such a good value for the price. The expectations I had varied a great deal from the actual experience. We arrived at the tiny hotel where the staff spoke poor English, took forever to check in and didn't seem that professional. The bedrooms were very dimly lit, we expected the rooms to look more like the pictures but it was quite small, stank of cigarettes and had a view of the neighbour's laundry line and constructions. We weren't given full-sized towels, nor a full roll of toilet paper and there was no safe in the room either. The reception area's bathroom was horrendous for a hotel, it stank and half of it was used for storage and didn't really look clean. When we checked out, we had to leave our suitcases for storage where we would return to collect them later. It turned out that they kept it in some laundry room with no security at all. I had to carry the suitcases out myself and no one offered to help. To be fair, this hotel was rated 3 stars and I was being overly optimistic and my expectations were too good to be true. Our alternative to this was Movenpick which I'm sure wouldn't have disappointed us, but I just thought that since we needed to attend the I.C.E centre and this is the closest one, the pictures didn't look bad at all so why not. This hotel is fine, as long as you realise how deceiving the pictures can be. It wasn't that bad but could be better, just don't set high expectations.
