"Wonderful stay with friendly and helpful Lyndsey. Easy to find, safe on site parking, slightly tricky to exit, maybe a trim of the clematis might help :- Super family room, very clean carpet, felt like new. Sofa to allow tv watching which is great. Plenty of mugs, tea, coffee all high quality items. Fridge and microwave in our room. Bed comfortable with cared for and clean linens. Breakfast superb - choices of cereals, fruit juices, yoghurt, fruit, cooked breakfast - all excellent quality and cooked with care. I had mentioned that I’m dairy free and this was catered for. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the local area. Standen and Wakehurst should you enjoy history, gardening and nature. Highly recommend and we look forward to revisiting. "Beautiful village and nice pub. Staff were great and parking was easy and fairly secure. Room was basic and quiet with en-suite, very reasonable price. Nice breakfast :-) "

"The bed was really uncomfortable, which was a surprise for a PI, as they pride themselves on the bed comfort. The bar was open late which was great. The parking is small, only 17 spots and you pay for this daily. "
