Hotel was set against beautiful mountains with green lush landscape all around. The onsen was a wonderful treat at the beginning and end of each day. Rooms were traditional and clean with very nice bathroom toiletries. The food was amazing and delicious. Service was friendly and attentive.

Rakuten STAY TERRACE Hakone Kowakudani
Although needing a train to access this place massively exceeded our expectations. The apartment was enormous with the luxury of a private semi outdoor thermal bath & a sauna. For a family of 5 this was absolutely perfect, very glad we chose here & not the other older hotels in the area

Hakone Kowakien TEN-YU
This was our favourite stay for our whole Japan trip. We stayed at 3 other hotels. This place and area is unbeatable and i wish I would’ve booked a second night. The Fujiya Hotel
Included breakfast selection is limited but quite good ... lineup and waiting period for unreservable breakfast was disappointing. Dinner dining times are too short ... but dinner choices are decent.
