They gave us a tour of the entire vineyard; Hector was very kind and knowledgeable about pisco production. It's a perfect place to escape the noise of the city."

"Definitely away from a lot of noisy areas. We liked that. A short walk to Huacachina Oasis. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts consisted of freshly made scrambled eggs and ham, orange juice and coffee. We would definitely stay again."

As a person who works hard so I can travel alot, improvement is needed with the amount of time food takes to reach the table. Not sure of there are not enough cooks in the back? Dinner was a 2 out of 10 and way too many American options. We are in Peru, one of the culinary capitals of the world. More traditional dishes are needed. Only reason we didn't go elsewhere was to not be rude...

"Matryoahka was a convenient and easy place to stay in Ica. The rooms were a decent size, and the bathrooms were new and clean. The staff were incredibly accommodating and allowed us to check in early after arriving on an overnight bus. It's not super close to the centre, but it is on the way to Huacachina, so for us that was more of a benefit."

"It is at the end of a U shaped pathway around the oasis with a great view on the pool side of the dunes. Very close to restaurants and other fun places around like banana bar. At the same time, its quiet despite the music nearby all night. Nice rooms and the make good trip reccomendations. Definitely safe."
