Instead I was in a good hotel but in a different town called Ica. It was reasonable but had to waste money on transportation and taxi . Everyone told me to not walk at night . "This was an incredible stay while we visited Huacachina Oasis which was only 30 minutes away. The room was clean and spacious with a huge shower. We had a walk out patio that overlooked one of the swimming pools which was beautiful. The service was beyond exceptional! What ever we needed was delivered immediately and with a smile. "Very nice hotel just down the road from Las Dunas but at half the price. It is in a safe area with friendly staff and good breakfast. Room was a little basic without bottled water, fridge or tea/coffee facilities but was large and air conditioning worked very well. Decent mini-Market is 15 minute's walk away for in room snacks.
