Excelent hostel. Friendly staff. Everything nicely maintain. Little be loud at night and in the morning but we knew about it before booking. No AC in our room #203. Don't know if there is AC in other rooms. Yes i would stay again in this hostel.

This stay was the perfect mix of fun, relaxed, safe and clean. I had picked Viajero Huachachina so that me and my husband could enjoy a chilled Hostel Vibe within a town which was renown for the party lifestyle. It didn't disappoint... Checkin staff are super friendly and welcoming, we had a private room which was clean, really tastefully decorated, had everything we could want, and had AC which was definitely a big plus! The best part however had to be the staff, host and general poolside atmoshphere, it's so well maintained, that you'd happily spend days on end relaxing, making friends, and drinking some of the great cocktails from there extensive menu...We left wishing we'd stayed longer, and would happily visit again! Thanks for having us Kokopelli!

Give it a chance!
Willing to give Viajero the benefit of the doubt on a few things as we stayed here during the first couple weeks of its opening and during a national holiday. Awesome location with a super friendly and chilled out vibe and so many more amenities than most hostels. However, we had no hot water in our shared bathroom, there was loud music to the early hours of the morning (despite signs saying to be quiet after midnight?), which is to be expected at some hostels but the rooms didn’t have much soundproofing. We’d definitely give it another chance, mainly for the outdoor space and access to Huacachina.

Todo perfecto! Muy limpio y el ambiente muy bueno. Lo único malo es que sus precios son más caros que el resto de sitios, comida, taxi, tours, etc. Por ejemplo, el mismo tour de sandboarding en este hostal te lo venden a 70 soles pero en la calle a 35. El taxi a la terminal te lo cobran a 15 durante el día mientras que el mototaxi te cobra 8 soles. Pero por las instalaciones y el trato de los trabajadores merece la pena. Es una experiencia excelente.

The hotel is a party place, although only the hotel staff was enjoying the extremely loud music until almost 2am, nobody could sleep during the night as the rooms have absolutely no sound proof protection. Also the room was not ready at check in time, which was quite late already and we had to wait another 2 hours to finally be able to enter the room and the guy at the reception wanted to fool us and very unfriendly. To complete the scenario, when the room was finally ready after many hours more than the check in time, there were no towels for shower and there was no towel available at the reception! So I wasn’t able to take a shower after a long trip in the middle of the desert. Terrible staff, do not recommend this hotel at all.
