Gudauri Recreational Area Trip

Good location and a good price overall. The staff seemed a little short-handed during check-in. After checkout, they can hold your bags for $2, which was convenient. Skinos, the restaurant attached to the hotel, is a very popular spot with good drinks and a nice birthday dessert. Unfortunately, the door connecting the restaurant to the hotel was locked because it was broken. The first-floor lighting could also use some dusting/cleaning. My biggest issue was the elevators. Only one elevator was working from the first floor to the lobby, and then you have to switch to a different elevator to get to your room. Because of that, check-in and checkout can get crowded and frustrating. Overall, though, it was a decent stay for the price.

There was nothing that I liked about the property. The room had no window for you to see outside. It smelt horrible and there was dust coming from the box fan mounted where the window should have been which caused me to cough profusely until I lost my voice. My overall experience was horrific.

Tempted to gatekeep but it’s truly such a lovely spot, great location, friendly staff, the only place we love to stay in Manhattan!
