The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in big changes to how we travel. If you plan to visit Guaiba Island, the following tips will help you navigate travel's newest challenges:

• You are now permitted to take one container of hand sanitizer up to 12 oz (350 ml) in your carry-on luggage. This will need to be taken out for X-ray scanning.
• Remove items from your pockets, like your wallet, coins and keys, and place them in your carry-on instead of the bins. This will minimize handling during screening.
• If you want to take food through the screening checkpoint, place it in a clear plastic bag and then into a scanning bin. This lessens the likelihood that a TSA agent will need to touch your carry-on bag or food container for closer inspection.
