"You can tell it’s a “historic” hotel. Don’t expect to be wowed by the ambiance. The Lobby is nice, but the rooms leave you wanting. "

"Rooms are not clean. Although it appears that they are attempting to upgrade the property, the effort seems clear however, the rooms are filthy. They need to put more attention to detail and actually clean the rooms. Staff is amazing. Check-in is amazing. Parking attendance are amazing overall the day was great room is just filthy. I would not read patronize the site until or unless their stars increased to four and above for cleanliness."

"The beds were comfortable. The hotel is very outdated. It doesn’t even have a normal bathroom door that locks. They also need to update plumbing and hot water. The shower head barely had water coming out and the fixtures were raggedy. Will not recommend."

"We loved our stay at Hyatt Regency Houston West. It’s a beautiful hotel. I feel bad because I didn’t get the name of the gentleman who checked us in, he was so kind and helpful. Also when we were passing by the cafe, the lady working was about to go on break but she was kind enough to let me in and allowed me to order a cafe mocha, which I really appreciated. Our room was so nice and clean. Bed was so comfortable and I slept so good. The same gentleman who checked us in also checked us out and I asked him about feeding the Kio fish and he handed me the food and I absolutely loved feeding them!!! We didn’t get to enjoy their pool but we are looking forward to that our next stay. I highly recommend staying here at this hotel, it’s not only beautiful but their staff is amazing and customer service is excellent! The hotel is also convenient in location, right off I-10, not far from City Centre and memorial city mall. Thank you."
