"The hotel is dark and needs updating. That said, it was quiet and comfortable. I had a king room that was just fine. Free wi-fi, cable tv, clean bathroom, vending machines with snacks and drinks. The pool was clean but could have used more chairs. In a good location, right next door to a busy coffee shop serving breakfasts and lunches. Short walk to Donner monument and lake beach. Front desk open 24 hours. "

"Very convince place to stay , you can eat next to the inn , no need to drive , there McDonald’s and other restaurants, only 4 minutes drive to the Donner Park . You can play snow there with young kids, the bathrooms in the park is very clean . The inn has 3 floors ,we can see beautiful view through our room window , the room is very warm , strong heat system. Bathroom in our room is clean."

"The cozy room, the awesome location, the generous and delicious breakfast selection were all fantastic! We loved our one night stay and honestly felt like we got the most of it especially with its extremely close (1 minute) proximity to the lake/the beach area to relax and enjoy the gorgeous scenery that Truckee has to offer! "Reserved this room for a weekend getaway for the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival. The proximity was great (30 min drive), and there are some other nice sites to see 10 minutes away (beaches and vegan food). The room was clean and comfortable. The toilet didn’t flush very well and one of the curtains didn’t roll up, but the bed was comfortable, the fireplace and bathtub jets worked great. So that was a 3.5/5.
