"We were so pleased to find such a unique historic place to stay. We had to find a place to stay at the last minute and I am always drawn to the unique vs a chain hotel. The renovations are stunning, especially the library and ballroom. Breakfast was wonderful more plentiful than the description given. The room was clean. Staff was friendly and full of historical information. Loved our stay!"

"Did not eat breakfast there. Went to Spencer’s Pub and had a good time…..highly recommend that the lights get lowered the bar is beautiful and the rest is bright lights. The property did not contain the advertised pool and jacuzzi. They are closed for renovation. Expedia and the hotel did showed them as opened. That was dissapointing as my husband has rotater cuff issues."

"The room was clean. Parking was convenient, and the staff was very helpful. The room was a little dated, but cozy. Shower was roomy, but took a while for the water to warm up. The refrigerator was noisy. It kept making this like humming sound, but kept everything cold. Overall everything was fine and we would stay here again!"
