Great North Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The room was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with options of buffet or hot food off the menu. The staff at breakfast and at the desk were very friendly. Originally we booked a Standard room and was disappointed that it was right above the bar and could hear/ feel the music/ vibrations despite the rooms being sound proofed. After speaking to the receptionist, they moved us to a different room above the reception which was lovely and quiet. I can't imagine this is ever an issue mid week. The receptionist was very nice about it and made sure we were happy the next morning. We had a lovely stay overall and would definitely consider staying again next time we are in Newcastle!"
