"The hotel was amazing and would definitely recommend. The rooms were spacious and clean, the futons were very comfortable. Our room had a private onsen which was a highlight. The kaiseki dinner was very delicious and well thought also to accommodate our kids. The breakfast included a wide variety of foods. The gardens of the hotel were very beautiful and peaceful- we enjoyed walking there many times a day. The hotel staff was kind and very helpful! The bus service to the nearby stations worked well. All in all, a near perfect stay, a very special experience and would definitely recommend!"

The only amenity was the onsen bath, which had separate facilities for men and women, so we couldn’t enjoy it together as a family. Overall, the experience did not justify the high price, and we felt we didn’t get good value for the money."
