"My room was non smoking, but you could not tell. I walked in to dirty walls, dirty beds and mismatched curtains. The bathroom was clean, but old. The staff was pleasant. I did not eat breakfast. "

"Got a king size room for me and my wife. The room felt cramped for two people. Also, the 1st floor is the 3rd floor. Other than that, nice property, good breakfast and super friendly and helpful staff and housekeepers!"

"Lets just start with the bad. The room smelled horrible. Luckily we had brought our own air purifier with us like we do for every hotel. There were no updated usb-c plug ins anywhere in the rooms. Very few outlets in the rooms. Had to unplug lamps to use power outlets. What kind of hotel in 2026 doesnt have usb-c outlets? The window coverings had stains all over them. We asked for ajoining rooms and apparently Expedia notes arent read by the hotel so we had to have rooms apart. The hotel didnt even try to do anything to fix it or accommodate us, but just made excuses instead. No free breakfast. They have a restaurant inside that is pricey, so we got our own breakfast. The good was the beds were comfortable enough for a good night sleep. The hotel was quiet and no teenagers running everywhere like other hotels. The location was good for our purposes. Pool and gym were decent even though some weights were missing. Other than that, not much else to say about the hotel. It was just an average stay. "

"The staff was nice, thay did not tidy the room did not make beds take out trash give clean towels no tea did not replenish coffee and the breakfast was not that good only waffles and cold cereals oatmeal no microwave one kind of bagel we will not be staying at that location ever again "

"Hotel Vandivort is my favorite spot to stay in Springfield. It's clean, the staff is excellent, easy to park, great food options within walking distance and overall great rooms."

"The room was great. We also love the Fire and Ice restaurant located at the same location as hotel. Staff was excellent!"

"While it’s an older building that shows some signs of age, it was clean and there were no signs of anything in disrepair. The bed was comfortable and there was some beautiful artwork on the walls. Very basic breakfast but staff were so kind and accommodating! We were just passing through and needed a place for the evening, and it was perfect for that. We never felt unsafe or worried. Would definitely stay again if in the area."

"No refrigerator or coffee in room. Coffee is premade in the lobby. Twice the pot was empty. The breakfast I paid for was raw. Toilet was broke all wkend. My mom had to clean the drain in our sink because it would back up constantly. We took pics for proof. Id never spend my money there again. Way over priced for a dirty place with nothing to offer. Charged me $29 for a drink. Gotta pay for parking. My brother's room was dirty and used when they checked in They actually sent him up to a dirty room. On the bright side the bed didnt hurt my back so thats my positive."
