Enjoyable stay

Lovely rooms & very helpful staff.

I chose to stay here for two nights while I was visiting Glyndebourne. Carol and Ceri were so friendly and welcoming. They took such good care of me and made sure that I wanted for nothing. The room I was given was large and extremely comfortable with a private bathroom that overlooked the beautiful garden. Breakfast was always delicious and served in the conservatory. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Great hotel, lovely rooms and lounge areas. Food in the restaurant was excellent: good choice at a reasonable price. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

We arrived and we're greater by the most wonderful Vicky, with whom we hit it off straight away as she up graded us to a suite. It's little things like this which go along way, as the suite was the most opulent, most spacious room I have ever stayed in, it's sweeping viwes to date a lawn Ed tree-lined avenue showing up the splendour of the settings in which this stunning period hotels lies. We were directed to the bar and sampled their food menu. We sat outside opposite the orangery restaurant....

It was my wife’s 60th and they looked after us wonderfully. Would highly recommend

The Bay Lodge was exactly what I hoped for - very reasonably priced, no frills accommodation, a friendly family-oriented atmosphere, (being a small concern allows for a much more personalised service), and good quality breakfast with more than adequate options available - all in all the perfect launchpad for my week in Eastbourne. A note of realism - if you're hoping for the Ritz Carlton this is not the place for you. If, however, you want budget accommodation done well in a classic English...

Stayed for one night to use as a base to go to football at Brighton. Ten minute walk to the railway station and then a short journey to Falmer which is right next to the stadium

We had an amazing stay and the hosts were very attentive from the minute we arrived to when we left and nothing was too much trouble. The room was lovely and really clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were lovely. We will definitely visit again and this would be the only place we would stay in Eastbourne.
