We had a fabulous weekend at Marriner Views. The apartment was ideal for a large family and the amenities are amazing. Steve the manager could not have been more accommodating and went above and beyond to help in any way he could. We cannot wait to return soon.

We were impressed with the view and spaciousness of the unit at 20th floor. Unit is bright and airy. However, can see that the property is quite old, but that isn't a big problem. Unit is reasonably clean (bed and bath). Kitchen floor feels sticky though. There is a washer and dryer, but laundry powder/detergent not provided so we had to buy from the supermarket. Overall, satisfied with the 2 night stay for the price paid.

Pros: location & size of apartment was great. Cons: rooms are old and in need of major TLC, no airconditioning. The owners need to invest in making these rooms look nicer, the furniture is old and should be replaced. Some of our linen had old stains on it. There was no aircon so we had to pull out the floor fans and they were rusty and dirty. It was good enough to leave our belongings at for 2 days and have somewhere to sleep but could have been a lot better and won’t be back unfortunately.

Great location. Walking distance to main shops in Surfers Paradise. Great size apartment. Noticed it didn’t have air con which didn’t bother us going in early September because the weather was quite pleasant but good to note if considering going in Summer - might be a bit hot. Beautiful view of the beach which was very close to walk to. Also noticed some things, mainly in the kitchen, weren’t as clean as what my standard of clean would be. They fridge and some drawers/cupboards probably needed a good wipe down and the toaster started smoking immediately when we used it I think from a build up of crumbs. We tried cleaning it best we could but I was too scared to use it after that. Otherwise there were good resources in the kitchen available for use. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and probably would come back for a weekend away.

The property was beautiful with magnificent views and wonderfully decorated. On top of that it was centrally located allowing us access to shops and public transport making our stay pleasant and easily accessible. Easy check in / out process. Friendly, helpful and responsive manager. The unit was spectacular, roomy, well appointed and very central to the main area of the Gold Coast. Was a little short on warm bedding but it was quickly rectified. The pool was warm although the spa wasn't working while we were there. Having parking included and available directly beneath was also very good. Would definitely stay here again.

Room was not ready at check in time. Had to leave and come back. Apartment is ok but a bit dated especially the bathrooms and window frames/shutters rusted. Not sure if this is because it's near the ocean. Had to leave my luggage on a weekend day and pick up later but there is no secure storage available. Was offered to leave in common area kitchen which I was not comfortable with. Manager was good enough to let me leave in the locked office. Reception is not manned on the weekends and front door needs a keyfob to enter. May not be important to everyone but good to be aware.

Perfect!

Our stay here at the Marriner Views has been nothing short of amazing. The facilities, the room, the position, management, the staff...THE VIEW, just brilliant. 👌 We originally checked in for 7 nights, but fell in love with the place and couldnt leave, and ended up staying almost 3 weeks. If you're looking for a laidback place to stay with spacious rooms and stunning 360 degree views, this is it.

Huge Potential but Left Disappointed

Views were amazing but unfortunately was disappointed by multiple issues. Firstly there was no courtesy call or msg to let us know that reception is not open on the weekend in order to check in. The apartment although large and spacious have no air conditioning which was made worse by the fact that the fan in the master bedroom did not work plus the bedrooms do not have block out blinds. In terms of cleanliness, we found a woman's bra behind the bedside table when we went to plug in our charger and the hair dryer had gone all sticky and had toilet paper and hair stuck to it from previous guests. The apartment has great potential it is just a shame the owners can't spend under $1,000 to get block out blinds, fix the fan and replace unhygienic appliances.
