"Clean room"

"Great reception staff, helpful and professional. Hotel is interesting and characterful. Comfortable well decorated room with decent linen. Decent breakfast but porridge was a bit watery A few downsides…… A lot of noise from the bar opposite until 11.30 and there is only single glazing because of its age. Heating from the A.C. panel was slow in heating the room, however the central heating kicked in during the night and the pipes were noisy with the constant sound of running water in the room. Shower in the morning was no more than a tepid trickle even when set to fully hot. Grubby curtains and no nets in the room although other rooms had them. Wouldn’t stay again as there are plenty of options in this price range. Parking expensive at £17 for residents."

"Lovely stay, it was my second time there. However, I was in a room that was right above the fans/generators or something so it was really noisy even at nearly 11pm and came back to life at 5am. Other than those times I slept well. The room needed a new TV the screen was purple and didn’t have any other colouring. I would stay again though, it is a lovely hotel and the food is delicious too. East parking and great facilities, "

"Staff were all very friendly at reception. The staff member on duty at the pool reception early (7 am) Sunday morning was more interested in watching his screen than talking to us. The rooms are spacious with generous sized bathrooms. Furniture and fittings are all a little worn looking but perfectly adequate for our trip. "

"Great selection available for Breakfast, it was hard to choose 😃 What we were disgusted with was the amount of people who thought it was acceptable to come down to breakfast in their pyjamas and the staff should have told them that nightwear is not suitable attire. Do what you like in your own home, but nobody needs to see your pyjamas. Room was lovely, bed was really comfy. Accessible bathroom was great, it was so nice not falling out the bath due to our mobility issues. Internet was great. Loved the fact you can alter the heating level in the room to your liking. Room had a kettle, tea, coffee, milk and sugar and a tv which was great just right height to watch in bed for news and movie. Would definitely stay here again. Value for Money"

"The breakfast was good. Lots of options. The pool area was dull. And changing rooms seem tired. And unwelcoming. Hot tub water looked murky. "

"The leisure facilities are not good enough for the size of the hotel. Everything is so small, the pool and the jacuzzi. The sauna and steam room were cozy when more than 4 people wanted to use. Needs much better leisure facilities. We left after 15 minutes as we were just sat round waiting to use "
